The exhibitions are open to the public as part of the cultural programme of Ars SACRA Festival and according to the schedule of each church and other participating sites in the project. Also during the dates and times indicated in the Open Church Days sub-programme. There is the possibility to visit the locations outside of the fixed timeframes, on request, especially for organised groups and by appointment.

OPEN CHURCH DAYS

The Open Churches Days aim to offer the general public the opportunity to visit places of worship outside the services, to learn about the architectural heritage and the history of sacred culture specific to each religion, the current cultural life and even the communities and personalities of each denomination.

Open Churches Day – Saturday 14 September 2024. On this day, churches will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The synagogue will be open only after 6 p.m.

A special day will be dedicated to each denomination in the programme during the festival, when you can visit the cultural programmes and sacred spaces of that denomination. The churches and synagogue can be visited as part of the cultural events, as well as on specially organised guided tours of the churches and synagogue.

On request and by prior appointment, the churches can also be visited, especially for organised groups, on different days and times.
